John Gove - DirectorJohn is a partner and co-founder of TransAction Resources. He has been working in the card payment area for 20 years. John has considerable experience in the areas of retail card strategy, development and marketing of card products, loyalty and database marketing, market research and the implementation of card processing systems. He has been involved in designing and developing a number of innovative programs for major organisations around the world. Clients John has worked with include Shell, McDonald’s, Qantas, Coles Group, Mobil, Woolworths and the Transport Ticketing Authority. In recent times, John has worked extensively in the cards regulatory environment in a number of countries including Australia, the EU, the USA, the UK and New Zealand, on behalf of merchants and merchant associations. |

Robert Roylance – DirectorRobert has worked in the area of electronic payments and transaction processing systems since the early 1980’s and was a co-founder of TransAction Resources in 1994. He has considerable experience with card terminals, point of sale systems, internet payments, data security, interchange, transit smartcards and payments technology standards. Robert has worked on projects for clients in Australia, Asia Pacific, Europe and the USA. He has been involved in liaison with Visa and MasterCard in various parts of the world. Robert has also worked on competition and regulatory issues with merchants in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the USA. Robert was a member of the Australian Payments Clearing Association working group charged with developing a new EFTPOS Access Regime in Australia. |

Tim Betts – General Manager EuropeTim joined TransAction Resources in 2006, after 34 years with Shell International, to head up our European operation. Tim’s last role with Shell was as Consultancy Manager, Global Retail; a role which gave him valuable and relevant international consultancy experience. Whilst Tim held many different managerial positions in sales & marketing in Shell International’s Retail organisation, those relevant to our business were when he was responsible for Shell’s fuel cards & loyalty business in Portugal; Shell UK’s stand-alone fuel cards business in the UK and cards & loyalty in the Caribbean & Central America. |
